Brief description: Matrix Association Management Company, Inc. (MatrixAMC) seeks an experienced administrator to fill this full-time (40 hours per week/day hours) position, to start as soon as possible. MatrixAMC is a for-profit management company charged with overseeing total operations of several non-profit organizations. Our firm provides credentialing management, member services, website content management, social media services and continuing education to professionals. The office consists of approximately 5-6 people and is located in a new construction office building in Southwest Meridian. The company has been in operation since 1999, and the owner works on-site.
This position would cater to the membership’s needs and provide responses to the public on assigned matters. The employee would liaise with members, residents, and the public, and oversee credentialing and membership services management chairs. This position would also provide support to the conference planners at times, providing registration services for in-person events (~1,200 people). Conferences are held around the country. This position would also help administer an annual national philanthropic program online that benefits the pet-owning public.
The applicant must be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, and type at least 40 wpm. Candidates with a university degree, or completed university coursework and relatable office experience of at least two years, will be given priority for interviews. Applicants must have at least two years of relatable office/administrative experience, be able to multi-task and track multiple deadlines, demonstrate strong organization, and enjoy diversity of work.
The position is diverse and includes interesting elements, it typically takes a full year to train. Therefore, we seek applicants who desire a long-term position and enjoy learning, working autonomously and growth. The position is on-site and requires fully paid travel with overtime at least once per year. All Matrix team members must be bondable and be without criminal record; when/if the position is offered, a background check will be conducted.
